Apiculture Project: Help the Pollinators
Maintain a bee hive on your Bitcoin mining farm and you can reduce taxes and enjoy other benefits.
Did you know that maintaining bee hives on your property provides tax benefits allowing you to declare your property as agricultural?
Many Bitcoin mining operations are out in the middle of very rural areas away from population centers and are ideal places to host Honey Bee hives. These are low maintenance and self sustaining. Honey bees are not aggressive and are only interested in the wild flora around the facility and will rarely bother the facility itself.
It is best to place the bee hives at the edges and corners of the property closer to the fields, and in the winter time, the hives can be moved closer to the mining pods so the heat exhaust can protect the hives from the freezing temperatures.
The hives used for apiculture sustainability are specially designed allowing for honey to be drained out the back of the hive without disturbing the bees. Several liters of honey can be collected each year from the bee hives, and all the while the bees continue to pollinate the area helping the flora in the area thrive.
As an added benefit, the honey from the hives can be sold, or given away as Proof-of-Work honey, or given to clients of the hosting facility, or used as gifts for booth visitors at Bitcoin conferences.
